The Tokidoki Chromatico Eye Palette in Bastardino Doesn't Just Look Good on Dressers - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Okay, so, near of us probably demand another eyeshadow palette about as much as RuPaul needs another blonde wig. Perchance that'southward why the marketing mavens at Tokidoki decided to upwardly the ante by calculation an alluring treat to each of their three impossibly cute Chromatico Eyeshadow Palettes ($25 each).
Bastardino, Adios and Diamante come with a tiny charm tucked away in the lesser compartment. Aww! They're like Happy Meals without the calories, but instead of a burger, chips and soda, you lot get iv coordinating shades with vibrant pigmentation. 🙂

When the Tokidoki makeup line launched in Sephora earlier this year, I went a piddling crazy and picked upward a few things, including the Chromatico palette in Bastardino. I've been using some of the other products, but the cute palette remained untouched on my dresser for all this time (I couldn't bring myself to disrupt the pans!).
Lately, nevertheless, Sephora'south been heavily pushing the products online (have y'all seen the Tokidoki Me portal folio?), so I pulled my palette downward from its perch to finally requite it a try.
Bastardino comes with four warm shades in a sassy run across-through example with a cutesy cactus/dog hybrid charm. The shades themselves — a matte brownish, a frosty pinkish beige, a shimmery taupe with silver glitter and a shimmery kelly greenish with gold glitter — actually piece of work surprisingly well, blending easily and lasting through the twenty-four hours without creasing, and with minimal fallout from just the two glittery shades. I said "surprising" because I'd begun to assume the Tokidoki makeup line was more well-nigh packaging than the makeup itself (luckily, it's soooooo cute!), but Bastardino's making me rethink that.
You know how I'thousand a brush fiend, right? Virtually of the time I discard the trivial brushes that come with eyeshadow palettes, but the one that comes with these is great! It's a tiny little liner brush with a small head, perfect for doing effortless soft, diffused looks (try it with the greenish shadow = crawly!).
If you, as well, accept been interested in the Tokidoki makeup line only figured it was trivial more than cute packaging, schedule some unstructured play time with the Chromatico Palettes if you tin can. Makeup and Dazzler Blog Rating: B+
The Cat Lady Chronicles: Episode 2,356
