Rental Assistance

Rapid Rehousing for Homeless

Housing relocation and stabilization services and/or curt-and/or medium-term rental assistance as necessary to help homeless individuals or families (living in shelters or in places not meant for homo habitation) move as quickly as possible into permanent housing and achieve stability.

Must be a San Benito County Resident

Tennant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)

TBRA is a rental assistance programme administered by the Section of Customs Services and can be used to help individual households pay for housing expenses such as:

  • Rent

  • Utility*

  • Security Deposits

  • Utility Deposits

The TBRA program does Non aid with dorsum Rent

You must be a resident of San Benito County for at least ninety days.

*Utility deposit assistance must be provided in conjunction with a TBRA security deposit or monthly assistance programme. In add-on, utility deposits aid may be used on for utilities permitted nether the Section 8 utility assart. Helping Hands

Helping Hands is considered a permanent housing program for chronically homeless individuals and families with disabilities (Disability/Medical diagnoses must exist supported by documentation certified doc or therapist)

Must be homeless for 12 month consecutive or 4+ episodes in the 3 years; defined by HUD definition of "Living in a place non meant for human being habitation".

Must be a San Benito County Resident

Assistance for individuals who are HIV/AIDS positive. Services include:

  • Monthly Food Voucher

Shelter Guests are provided:

America's Job Center of California

San Benito County America's Job Center of California (AJCC) is packed with a total array of useful equipment, tools, and personnel to assistance job seekers of all ages, besides equally employers.

For chore seekers, the AJCC provides free access to the internet, the state-wide CALJOBS chore search database, a well-stocked resource library, resume building assistance, employment readiness workshops, childcare resources and referrals.

For employers, the AJCC offers programs that assist defray the costs of training skilled labor, subsidized employment, admission to trained graduates, labor market place information and business start-upwards assistance.

Migrant Center

The Hollister Migrant Housing Centre is open to families from the months of May through November. This center provides subsidized housing to migrant agronomical working families.

The purpose of the Migrant Housing Heart is to provide prophylactic, decent and affordable seasonal rental housing and back up services for migrant farmworker families during the summit harvest flavor.
